Changing One Life at a Time Transforms Whole Communities
Our goal is bold yet achievable: to reduce poverty by 50% across all nine areas we serve in rural Bangladesh. We do this by being people focused, not program focused. Social workers develop individual development plans with each family that maximizes the opportunities they have in their community. Today, we are proud to share that this milestone has already been reached in six of those communities. These results are not just numbers—they reflect thousands of families who now have the means to build stable livelihoods, keep their children in school, and invest in a more secure future. By focusing on proven strategies such as microloans and early childhood education, we are strengthening the foundation for long-term, generational change.
When a family rises out of poverty, the impact extends far beyond their household. Local markets grow as families are able to purchase goods and services. Children who are educated become healthier, more capable adults who contribute to their communities. Roads, schools, and small businesses strengthen as economic activity increases. This ripple effect fuels regional progress, contributes to national stability, and ultimately builds a more equitable and interconnected world. As each community becomes stronger, we all benefit—reminding us that reducing poverty is not only a local achievement but a global investment in our shared future.
Your support of our holistic model of poverty eradication provides comprehensive support for families who have nothing, no assets, no home of their own, little, if any, income, and no hope for the future. When one family achieves success, it impacts their neighbors.
You can be the difference in one family’s future that results in transforming an entire community.
